Custom Stainless Steel Stamping

FRIMA is trusted metal stamping company when you need stainless steel stamped parts.

We use a specialty in-house tooling process to provide short-run parts to medium-run parts to satisfied customers in any industry. At FRIMA Stamping we don’t take a cookie-cutter approach to any of our partnerships. Our tooling is completely customized and we’re able to meet your exact manufacturing needs through extensive list of value added services.

These alloys include:

301 Stainless Steel – Superior corrosion resistance and moderately high tensile strength

304 Stainless Steel – Food-grade quality and has moderate tensile strength

316 Stainless Steel – Incorporates molybdenum for improved strength and corrosion resistance

430 Stainless Steel – Provides maximum flexibility and good corrosion resistance

Stainless steel is a steel alloy with a minimum of 10.5% chromium content by mass. Stainless steel is a commonly chosen metal for many metal stamping projects due to its resistance to corrosion and staining. FRIMA Stamping has extensive stainless steel stamping experience with all types of stainless steel including 300 and 400 series as well as other specific stainless steel types.

FRIMA’S Stamping experiece

FRIMA’s experience with stainless steel stamping ranges from small thin gauge parts to large heavy gauge products. 25+ years of experience allows us to maintain high accuracy for the precision parts required by our customers. Our competencies also extend to blanking, piercing, forming, and drawing of stainless steel parts.

Stainless steel does not readily corrode, rust or stain with water as ordinary steel does. There are different grades and surface finishes of stainless steel to suit the environment the alloy must endure.

Stainless steel is often used where both the properties of steel and corrosion resistance are required. There are over 150 grades of stainless steel, of which fifteen are most commonly used. Stainless steel can be milled into coils, sheets, plates, bars, wire, and tubing to be used in cookware, cutlery, household hardware, surgical instruments, major appliances, industrial equipment and as an automotive and aerospace structural alloy and construction material. Its use is extended to commercial kitchens and food processing plants, as it can be steam-cleaned and sterilized and does not need paint or other surface finishes.

What you can choose:

Stainless steel differs from carbon steel by the amount of chromium present. Unprotected carbon steel readily forms rusts or iron oxide when exposed to air and moisture. Stainless steel contains sufficient chromium to form a passive film of chromium oxide, which prevents further surface corrosion by blocking oxygen diffusion to the steel surface thereby blocking corrosion from spreading into the metal’s internal structure. Stainless steel’s resistance to corrosion and staining, low maintenance and familiar luster make it an ideal material for many applications such as:

  • Lighting
  • Decorations
  • Architecture
  • Bridges
  • Monuments and sculptures
  • Passenger rail cars
  • Aircraft Components
  • Jewelry
  • Dentistry
